The 30th of April marks 47 years of Reunification Day in Vietnam. After more than forty decades, Binh Thuan province has undertaken many significant steps forwards and becoming an attractive area for investment, especially in renewable energy.
Interviewed on Binh Thuan Television (BTV), Stuart Livesey, CEO of La Gan Wind Project shared that:
“Binh Thuan province has a wealth of ideal conditions that can be utilized for offshore wind projects. According to the initial assessment, it is relatively shallow offshore in Binh Thuan, which means the turbines can be established on fixed foundations. By using this potential and support from local authorities, Binh Thuan will become an ideal and pioneering location to establish offshore wind projects to bring many opportunities for domestic and foreign investors, suppliers and a wealth of local jobs.”
The La Gan Offshore Wind Project is looking forward to investing in and becoming a key contributor to the evolution of Binh Thuan in renewable energy, as a country leader for offshore wind. We hope to collaborate further with Binh Thuan province and the Vietnamese government to ensure a clean transfer of alternative energies and create more job opportunities and benefits for local communities.
